My good friend over at RED SOX CHICK, has an ongoing project of sending slumping players postcards to cheer them up and encourage them out of their slump.
Now seeing as we are decimated by injuries at the moment, (Jeter is out tonight aswell as Sheff and Damon), I propose we copy cat Cyn’s idea but with a slight difference. We should send, get well soon cards, to our injured players..

What do we do if our team doesn’t really have significant injuries, but isn’t playing too great? My Rockies (no laughing!) have been a bit flat lately…and their healthy for the most part.
Maybe I can send a get-well card to their mascot, in this case Dinger, since he’s probably sad?
By the way, I like my little blog…until I come over and see what you “Big League Bloggers” have done with your blogs. I have a serious case of blog-envy.
Well, since you guys make me feel less-then, I’m going to watch ESPN and feel good about myself….oh **** it’s Spelling Bee season! Now, I get to watch 11-yr-olds remind me how dumb I am!!
